About Humm CRM

Humm CRM (www.hummcrm.com) is customer-management software for local service businesses: cleaning companies, pressure washers, HVAC contractors, landscapers, plumbers and similar trades. A business signs up, gets its own business phone number, and uses Humm to schedule jobs, send quotes and invoices, and text and call its own customers from that number. Humm sends texts only on behalf of the business you are dealing with, to the number you gave that business.

What these texts are

Messages are about service you asked for or received from that business: appointment confirmations and reminders, "on the way" notices, quotes, invoices and payment reminders, and replies to your questions. They are conversational and informational, never bulk marketing. For example:

  • "Hi Sam, this is Bright Windows. We're confirming your cleaning for Tue 10 AM. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Your quote from Bright Windows is ready: https://www.hummcrm.com/q/... "
  • "Mike is on the way and should arrive in about 20 minutes."

Texts from Humm CRM itself

If you give Humm CRM your mobile number when you sign up or ask about the product and tick the consent box, Humm CRM may text you marketing messages, including follow-ups about your inquiry and invitations to book a demo, at the number provided. Up to 4 messages per month. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

How you opt in

You agree to receive texts when you give your mobile number to the business (for example, when booking or requesting a quote by phone, in person or on a web form) and agree to be contacted by text, or when you text the business first.

How often

Message frequency varies with your service, usually a few messages per job.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opting out and help

  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed.
  • Reply START to receive texts again.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email hummcrm@gmail.com.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
